Delete your Resume Guide account or data
For users of the Resume Guide mobile app, published by Zenawi. Last updated: July 15, 2026.
You have full control over your data in Resume Guide. You can either delete individual items (a single resume, cover letter, saved job description, match result, or candidate) without touching the rest of your account, or delete your entire account and all data in one step.
Delete individual data only
If you want to remove specific items but keep your account active:
- A resume: open the app, go to Resumes, and swipe left on the resume (or use Select mode to delete several at once).
- A cover letter: swipe left on it in the Letters tab.
- A saved job description: open More → Job Descriptions and delete the entry.
- A match result: open More → My Optimization Results and delete the entry.
- A candidate (Screen & Interview users): swipe left on the candidate in the Candidates tab.
- A favorite template: tap the star icon on the template card to remove the favorite.
If you can't sign in or no longer have the app, email support@resumeguide.ai describing the specific items you want deleted, along with the email address on your account. We'll process the request within 7 days.
Delete the entire account (and all data)
If you want to remove everything at once, you have two options:
Option 1: delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open the Resume Guide app on your phone.
- Tap the More tab at the bottom.
- In the Account section, tap Delete my account.
- Confirm it's really you: re-enter your password, or sign in once more with Google.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm the final warning.
Option 2: email us
If you no longer have the app installed, or you can't sign in:
Include:
- The email address you used to sign in.
- A short note confirming you want your account deleted.

| Google Play purchase records | Google keeps its own record of your purchases under Google’s policies. Refunds and receipts are handled through Google Play. |
