Delete your Resume Guide account or data

For users of the Resume Guide mobile app, published by Zenawi. Last updated: July 15, 2026.

You have full control over your data in Resume Guide. You can either delete individual items (a single resume, cover letter, saved job description, match result, or candidate) without touching the rest of your account, or delete your entire account and all data in one step.

Delete individual data only

If you want to remove specific items but keep your account active:

Deleted items go to the app's Recycle Bin for 30 days, where you can restore them or delete them permanently right away (More → Recycle Bin → Delete permanently, or Empty bin). After 30 days they are permanently removed from our servers automatically.

If you can't sign in or no longer have the app, email support@resumeguide.ai describing the specific items you want deleted, along with the email address on your account. We'll process the request within 7 days.

Delete the entire account (and all data)

If you want to remove everything at once, you have two options:

Option 1: delete from inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open the Resume Guide app on your phone.
  2. Tap the More tab at the bottom.
  3. In the Account section, tap Delete my account.
  4. Confirm it's really you: re-enter your password, or sign in once more with Google.
  5. Tap Delete my account and confirm the final warning.
Your account and all data are removed immediately. You'll be signed out and returned to the login screen.

Option 2: email us

If you no longer have the app installed, or you can't sign in:

Send an email to support@resumeguide.ai with the subject “Delete my account”.

Include: We will delete your account within 7 days of receiving the request and confirm by email when it's done.
This action is permanent. Once deleted, your resumes, cover letters, saved job descriptions, match results, interview sessions, candidate data, owned premium templates, and remaining credits cannot be recovered, and unused credits are not refunded.

Google Play purchase records Google keeps its own record of your purchases under Google’s policies. Refunds and receipts are handled through Google Play.
